Student Resource Center Liaison - Monroe Middle School
Contract Commitment/Compensation: $14.16 per hour
Job Goal: The goal of the Student Resource Center Liaison is to work collaboratively with the Building Administrator/s and Staff to carryout processes that allow students to reflect on and modify behaviors.
Reports to: Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Associated degree or equivalent course work preferred
- 3-5 years of work experience with children preferred (Examples: conducting mediations, developing behavior interventions, supporting teachers in implementing behavior interventions, analyzing data, resolving complex situations in a school setting)
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
- Effective communication with parents regarding student behaviors.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse set of stakeholders towards a common goal
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Administration and Staff to maintain systems to ensure a positive school climate for all members of the school community
- Provide leadership to the school community in the prevention, intervention, and response to reports of bullying, discrimination, and otherwise mean-spirited behavior in the school
- Ensure the implementation of behavioral intervention/response plans
- Maintain confidentiality of student records
- All other responsibilities as assigned by the Building Administrator
