The Paula Deen Store, located next to the Lady and Sons restaurant, is now hiring hourly sales associates. The right candidate has a sincere passion for Savannah and the southern lifestyle, enjoys meeting people, and customer service experience. Hours will include weekends and holidays.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Brand Ambassador – The Sales Associate is first and foremost an ambassador of the Paula Deen brand and should fulfill his/her duties with a consistently positive attitude which conveys the essence of Southern Hospitality.
- Store Systems & Processes– The Sales Associate utilizes store systems including all cash register functions, office equipment to include phones and printers, assisting in the processing of incoming merchandise, restocking shelves, tables and displays to visual standards, guest service, and sales.
Daily Operations– The Sales Associate will assist the Manager On Duty in opening and closing the store as scheduled, using the Store Opening Checklist and Store Closing Checklist as a guide. Greets every guest entering the store in an energetic, friendly manner. Conducts sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Physical Inventory
– The Sales Associate assists the Managers in maintaining accuracy in the store’s physical inventory.
- Selling– The Sales Associate is a critical element in driving sales at the POS and on the sales floor. Greets every guest entering the store in a friendly manner. Follows up with browsing guests to probe for interests and needs. Suggests merchandise as well as add-on items at the register to build the transaction.
Evening and weekend availability required.
