Summary of key responsibilities:
- Prepare and arrange fresh fruit displays to Edible Brand standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their product selection and answering any questions they may have
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process customer transactions while following cash handling and register procedures
- Maintain Edible cleanliness and sanitation standards. Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure quality & freshness of fruit
- Maintain positive attitude working with a team
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate stock
- Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized assistance
- Proficient in using technology for sales transactions and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, cash register and inventory calculations
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus for effective communication with customers
Previous experience working with fruit or in a retail environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
