Position Overview:
As a State Sales Representative at Wind River Tobacco Co., you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by building and nurturing relationships with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with potential business partners, retailers, and distributors to promote and distribute our range of tobacco and other products. You will serve as the face of the company, representing our values and commitment to quality in every interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with prospective clients within the assigned territory to establish and expand the company's presence in the market by placing point of sale and marketing materials to advance brand awareness within the assigned territory
- Conduct consumer intercepts at retail that engages with adult consumers about our brands
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives
- Establish rapport with existing clients and provide exceptional customer service to ensure their ongoing satisfaction
- Present and demonstrate our brand portfolio to potential clients, addressing their needs and showcasing the value that our products offer them
- Collaborate closely with your sales manager to share insights, gather feedback, and optimize sales strategies
- Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering on revenue and performance objectives
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to secure new business partnerships
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant sales data using Microsoft Excel
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and represent the company professionally
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in outside sales
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and assist sales team members on team crew drives outside your assigned territory.
