About the Role:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a key role in the lead generation team and assist in building the sales pipeline. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeting outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Executing outbound lead generation activities
- Scheduling high quality meetings with prospective customers for the sales team
- Consistently meeting monthly targets and activity levels
- Updating and managing all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Collaborate closely with our Operations, Engineering and Trading Team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Local travel (25 mi radius) required 75%
- Ability to consistently complete a large volume of outbound emails and calls
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team environment a must
- Candidate must be comfortable with cold calling in person and via phone contact
- Candidate should have good written skills and effectively communicate internally and externally
- Prior experience in food waste or rendering industries a plus
