Our Columbia, MD office is looking for a Receptionist to service as the first contact with customers, clients, and prospects as they call or visit the office. The goal of the Receptionist is to provide the highest level of customer service to those individuals.
The salary target for this role is $34,000.00 - $42,000.00, depending on experience.
We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Duties
Reception Duties
Provide a high level of exceptional customer service to new and existing clients
Enthusiastically greet clients and announce their arrival
Handle incoming client calls for appointments and service needs
Provide information about client’s accounts
Data Entry
Documents processing, scanning, and copying
Process transactions such as money movements
Deposit checks
Prepare client reports
Maintain databases
Manage incoming and outgoing USPS, FedEx, and UPS mail deliveries
Under the direction of your manager, assist with various office projects as requested
Education/Qualifications
HS Diploma/2-year degree a preferred
2 year’s office/reception experience
Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude
Professional appearance, voice, and interaction with customers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with all levels of staff and management, with a teamwork mentality
Ability to prioritize workflow and projects; work in a deadline environment and be flexible
Detail-oriented
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
