A well established property management company based in Astoria/Long Island City is currently accepting applications for an Accounts Payable Clerk.
Prior property management or accounts payable experience preferred but not required. Will train the right individual.
Duties include:
- Review and enter invoices for payment into property management software
- Verify balances owed and maintain record of payments
- Correspond with vendors regarding invoices and payments
- Review statements and cross check with paid invoices
- Sort checks and mail payments

- Self-starter who can multi-task and remain focused
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Willing to learn and apply new skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Desired Experience/Skills:
- 1+ years of accounts payable, customer service, or office experience preferred, but not required
- General computer knowledge
- Bilingual (Spanish), preferred but not required
