Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and execute financial strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
- Create and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
- Conduct insightful financial analysis, focusing on industry-specific key performance indicators.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Build different P&Ls for business units to provide key profitability insights.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
Cash Flow Management:
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.
- Monitor and manage working capital, optimizing cash management strategies.
- Minimize financial risk through effective financial planning.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Collaborate across teams to evaluate business opportunities and investments.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Preference for candidates with an accounting degree)
- 3-5 yrs. experience in FP&A roles with a desire to expand into other areas of accounting and finance.
- CPA or MBA preferred, but we will consider other education with applicable experience.
- Experience working with budgeting and forecasting applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
