Sea Dog Brewing is an independent, Maine-owned company operating successful brewpubs in ME, NH and FL. We pride ourselves on fresh food, hand crafted beers, exceptional hospitality, and legendary atmosphere! Our menu focuses on seafood and creative pub fare with new specials each week. Some of the responsibilities of the Lead Line Cook / Shift Supervisor include:
- Prepare recipes to order for timing, quality, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized workstation according to company standards, health department regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Oversee shared kitchen team tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Complete other duties as assigned in support of the business.

- Proven work experience as lead line cook
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Experienced on multiple stations including saute, grill, salad, app and fry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time or Seasonal
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a lead line cook or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and cost management
- Ability to effectively lead a team in a fast-paced work environment

- Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee food production and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
- Assist with catering events and special functions as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized workstation according to company standards, health department regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Oversee shared kitchen team tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
