Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines during production runs
- Set up machines according to specifications. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Safely sets up, operates, and monitors converting machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
· Completes converting machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
· Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
· Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
· Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
· Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
· Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
· Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
· Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge inclined and aptitude for working with machinery
- Experience in materials handling, assembly, and packaging
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of CAM programming is a plus
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with Fanuc or other logic controllers is preferred

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
