HR Business Partner

As an HR business partner, you will be responsible for implementing HR initiatives, providing strategic and tactical human resource support for a specific geographical area, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Yzer is recruiting a HR Business Partner to support our operational employees located in the field across the US, reporting directly to the VP of HR. In addition, this person will maximize performance strategies, support workforce planning, lead training/development for their region, and partner in key business decisions.
The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. They serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and act as an employee champion and change agent. Location: Must reside in Southern CA to apply to this position. Supporting the Southern California region, North California, WA, TX, AZ, CO, and WV. This job requires 50% travel to all Hubs centers but will go down to 30%. Total HC is overseeing is 500+ W2 employees.
Responsibilities:
· Enhance HR engagement, quality in the field and strategically partner with front line leaders to understand their operation to maximize retention strategies.
· Drive the business and create a “one team approach”. Serves as the HR subject matter expert to managers and employees and establishes HR as a credible and trustworthy resource.
· Maintain candidate pools and talent pipelines. Sources candidates directly in the marketplace and develops candidate pools within their respective market streams.
· Provide support and consultation to line management on key people trends and metrics.
· Deliver People solutions aligned to the company’s objectives that focus on leader development, training, and growth.
· Help to build the framework for the HR team.
· Works with leaders to share best practices across the Region for recognition of results and performance.
· Champion inclusive, respectful, and safe cultures where employees thrive and model Yzer’s purpose and values.
· Consult and partner on complex employee relations investigations and make recommendations on the appropriate course of action in partnership with the key stakeholders.
· Serve as the voice of the business by providing feedback to Leaders on design, implementation and on-going execution of people programs/processes.
· Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment law requirements to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
· Provide regional guidance and perspective on promotions, salary and workforce planning.
· Champion and educate on new People programs, initiatives, DEI, learning and development, engagement, rewards and talent.
. Requirements:
· Skilled in consulting Leadership and tactfully challenging perspectives while maintaining professional credibility and relationships
· Ability to build business cases that drive strategic business HR decisions.
· Tenured in facilitating talent activities (talent and performance calibrations, succession planning, etc.) and providing thoughtful and challenging viewpoints that ensure consistent evaluation of talent
· 5+ years Human Resources Business Partner or progressive experience as a Human Resource Manager
· Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree a plus.
· Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally with remote teams.
· Stellar communication, listening and influencing skills.
· Proven ability to act and problem solve in ambiguous situations.
· Build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
· Own, execute and deliver on short- and long-term projects.
· Prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a change agent.
· Bilingual preferred.
· Must travel up to 50% per month at first, then it will go down to 30%.
