With over 300 stores in the U.S. and internationally, we are expanding and looking for a Junior Product Developer take part of our vision.
The Junior Product Developer is responsible for focusing on all aspects of Kung Fu Tea. You will assist the team in developing new drink flavors, conducting market research, and improving existing products while considering operational factors to ensure product quality across all locations. Our goal is to prioritize flavor and consistency while also considering costs and operations.
What your Day looks like:
- Conduct market research on trending drinks, competitor releases, and potential brand partnerships
- Generate and propose new drink ideas for management review
- Document calorie information for upcoming and past drinks using MealCal
- Manage basic administrative emails related to product inquiries from operators or customers
- Assist in creating and editing video tutorials for new product launches and add them to SOP
- Keep the Google Drive folder up to date with essential information for franchisees
- Visit the flagship location in Flatiron and provide product samples as required
- Test different drink combinations when Taiwan samples arrive and record the results
- Assist in testing new products for other concepts such as TKK and Yasubee
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You are someone who has..:
- Preferred 2 years of professional culinary experience
- Prioritize a clean, safe, and healthy working environment while adhering to safe food-handling practices
- Proficient in using Gmail, Excel Sheet, Google Drive, and basic video editing
- Understand the importance of product taste, texture, and smell in addition to its physical appearance
- Strong team communication and professionalism while providing a safe environment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work outside of working hours, if needed
- Perform other assigned duties
