Position Summary
The Shipping Clerk position verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull shipments based on daily shipping reports.
- Create required shipping labels, and initiate pick up if required.
- Create required shipping paperwork, commercial invoices, packing slips, etc. as required to properly ship items to required destination.
- Prepare pallets for shipping (i.e. labeling and shrink wrap)
- Utilize FIFO method to restock frequently used product on Shipping Shelves (A and B)
- Responsible for loading commercial truck shipments.
- Work with outside agencies to acquire required documents for product being shipped when required.
- Maintain Records of Shipments.
- Responsible in the investigation of lost and or missing shipments.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure system accuracy.
- Prepare Pour-Ups for customer shipments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Will be required to receive forklift certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
