OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for servicing the real estate needs of companies primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. While commercial real estate experience would be helpful, a background in business-to-business sales is more important. Training is offered.
The position requires good selling skills, tenacity, and a desire to learn. It is a commission-only position with multiple ways to earn, but there is no limit to your income. It can be full-time or part-time.

ABOUT THE ROLE
REATA is seeking additional Corporate Real Estate Advisors (Tenant Representatives) to grow our team in the DFW market. We are looking for driven, entrepreneurial-minded, and tenacious self-starters, who have a passion for commercial real estate and who focus on delivering extraordinary results for clients. We are interested in bringing on both seasoned and new recruits and provide the training where needed to become successful.
Our Corporate Advisors work full time to form relationships with potential customers and win them over with genuine support and industry guidance. As a Corporate Real Estate Advisor, you will lead our customers through the entire process of leasing commercial properties – including participating in market and site analysis, site selection, transaction management, lease and sales negotiations and financial analysis for tenants. Our company and culture give our Advisors creative license to develop their own personal brand to connect with their clients from the start.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work Summary
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Develops and secures new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling services to clients, including,
- Calling prospects and leads to qualify/disqualify
- Scheduling first meetings for or with the lead broker depending on the prospect
- Crafting presentations to prospective clients
- Conducting market research
- Conducting cold calls and other marketing activities to obtain market information and generate new business
- Engages in the local business community and charitable events, as well as industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business
- Creates Request for Proposals (RFP) and prepares RFP responses
- Drafts correspondence to existing and prospective clients
- Gathers, prepares, and distributes marketing materials
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in company databases (e.g., call notes per contact)
- Develops long-term client base through a variety of selling techniques, referrals, and business development activities such as networking via business functions and events
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Provides tenants with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values
- Attend meetings and building tours with potential end users
- Compiles property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and presentations for tenant representative assignments
- Manages overall client process and satisfaction for existing and new client relationships
- Develops a personal brand as an industry expert
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
- Gathers and coordinates materials necessary for transactions such as representation agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements
- Conducts basic financial analysis
- Analyzes data to prepare market reports and understand values and trends
- Participates in contract negotiations and client due diligence processes
- Maintains current knowledge of market conditions, property values, and legislation that may affect the real estate industry
- Maintains timely, complete, and accurate data in the customer relationship management (CRM) database for weekly reporting

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
THIS OPPORTUNITY REQUIRES,
- A Texas real estate license (or willingness to get one)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred but not required
- Great communication (both oral and written) and selling skills
- Excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills
- Professional tenacity and a desire to learn
- Passion for commercial real estate
ADDITIONAL SKILLS INCLUDE,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Demonstrated intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics, financial terms, and principles
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and effectively present information
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in various situations
PREFERRED CAPABILITIES INCLUDE,
- Prior exposure to CRM software
- Basic understanding of and exposure to commercial real estate
- Knowledge of the local commercial real estate market to guide clients through their real estate journey
- Coachability and willingness to learn commercial real estate advisory sales
- Excellent computer skills and comfortable with internet and social media-based research
