Responsibilities:
- 7 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN STATE AND/OR FEDERAL COURTS REQUIRED
- Leadership opportunity
- Handle complex commercial litigation in various State and Federal Courts
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court and litigate cases on their behalf
- Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in legal drafting and writing
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures and processes
