MAX MARA located in the Stanford Shopping Center is looking for a sales motivated Assistant Manager with a passion for fashion! A successful candidate would have 2+ years of retail management experience, loves to sell, is commission driven, and up for the challenge!
*This position is highly incentivized - yearly salary + monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses + commission on every sale made!
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage, facilitate, and direct all store functions with the unified goal of increasing store revenue, client retention and team development. Consistently plan and achieve all store and operational objectives.
- Develop and execute business strategies to increase client acquisition and expand store foot traffic while optimizing profitability. Assist in maximizing new client conversion metrics.
- Acknowledge, plan, and forecast the achievement of personal and store sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales team. Continuously build on product knowledge and sales skills by following and teaching the Company’s selling methods.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by exhibiting and training employees on exceptional customer service skills. Exude constant enthusiasm and positive energy on the sales floor with the genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to excel as a leader in a competitive sales environment.
- Report on store buying trends, customer needs, profitability, and opportunities with a clear and precise plan on how to overcome store challenges.
- Actively utilize the Company’s CRM (customer relationship management) program and successfully achieve influenced sales goals. Mentor and follow-up with sales team on the use of the program and provide suggestions on how to enhance client engagement and communication.
- Manage sales and customer service teams to keep the store in impeccable shape adhering to Company standards. Assist in all facets of store operations which include, but not limited to merchandising, inventory, transfers, payroll, shipments, store meetings, price markdowns, and daily branding of store, etc.
- Partner with Store Manager and Marketing Manager on coordinating any store events and collaborations with organizations. Assist with the planning, budgeting and facilitating of in-store fashion shows and functions with the unified goals of increasing brand awareness and revenue.
- Assist in the active recruitment, onboarding, and training of new store employees. Partner with Store Manager and/or Human Resources on conducting performance appraisals or course corrections to enhance team development and people management.
