We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teachers to join our team and contribute to our nurturing and educational environment. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating space where young children can learn, play and grow. This role requires a blend of creativity, patience and a deep understanding of child development to foster a love of learning in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement our curriculum that caters to the age and development stage of the children in your class, promoting their physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
- Follow weekly lesson plans that are engaging, educational and fun, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
- Observe and assess children's performance, behavior, social development and physical health.
- Establish and maintain a clean, tidy, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to all daycare policies and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and improve the daycare's overall quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field, as well as a high school diploma.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants and daycare staff.
- Patience, creativity and a genuine love for working with children.
