Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated healthcare test engineer to join our team.
Function
As a Healthcare Test Engineer, you will work with engineers to create, develop, install, implement, validate, and maintain repair line test capability for new product lines and evaluate the effectiveness of existing setups and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, manage, and maintain depot test stations and test systems (Test computers, software, hardware, etc.)
- Design test jigs, test racks, templates, digital tools, product labels, drawings, flowcharts, diagrams, logs, etc.
- Research and consult with manufacturers, vendors and suppliers on test equipment, tools, etc. aligning with Business Unit standards for local sourcing and request quotations, estimates, invoices, etc.
- Work with the purchasing team to purchase test equipment, tools, supplies, parts, and materials for the repair center.
- Manage, perform, and schedule onsite and offsite calibrations. Maintain calibration records, certifications, extensions, and out-of-tolerance forms.
- Manage and maintain ESD station monitors. Perform periodic functional verifications.
- Manage and maintain stamps, assignment records, acknowledgment forms, and periodic legibility verifications.
- Create, update and review Repair procedures, work-around instructions, documents, forms, etc.
- Manage housekeeping safety and compliance within the repair center. Maintain staff meeting records.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Set up and test DEMO computers, including system imaging, updates, software licensing, and registration.
- Perform first-article Article Inspections for packaging boxes, foam sets, etc.
- Perform administrative work (records, logs, schedules, safety datasheets, work files and folders, server links, signs, labels, etc.)
- Support new product introductions, acquire new test sets and equipment, and set up trainings in accordance with business unit standards.
- Collect data and generate reports (Direct Labor, Techs Efficiency, Trend Analysis, Customer NCR’s, Returns, etc.)
- Other administrative work: Employee relations, emails, conference calls, meetings, JIRA, CAPA, EOL/EOS updates, etc.
Qualifications
- Technical Bachelor degree, or higher, or equivalent through experience
- 5 years of industry or related experience are preferred.
- Ability to schedule and perform assignments independently.
- Good communication skills, service, and client orientation.

Pay: $76,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
