Whitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of environmental and geotechnical engineering services throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting for an Environmental Scientist/Project Manager to join either our Chalfont, PA or Philadelphia, PA office location. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Scientist/Project Manager with 6-10 years of experience to join our team. This position involves environmental investigations, project planning, and project execution.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the Chalfont and Philadelphia areas.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;
· Coordinate and conduct multimedia sampling (soil, groundwater, air, etc.);
· Provide oversight of remediation and remedial construction;
· Prepare and review technical reports for regulatory bodies and project stakeholders;
· Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and construction specifications related to environmental investigation/remediation; and
· Provide mentorship and training to junior-level staff.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related;
· 6-10 years of relevant experience in in conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Site Investigations (SIs), multimedia (soil, groundwater, soil gas, air, etc.) sampling, monitor well installation, and underground storage tank closure;'
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and project teams; and
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
