Laboratory Logistics Coordinator with Serviam Diagnostics
Full-time position located in Des Plaines
Serviam Diagnostics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Logistics Coordinator to support our operational and strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on position focused on managing phlebotomy schedules with the individual communities we service while maintaining the highest level of integrity in accordance with our company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling phlebotomy visits with communities by contacting them via email or phone at least 72 hours prior to confirm appointments.
- Collaborate closely with the Mobile Wellness Solutions team to communicate any schedule changes, new community additions, and address any issues that require their attention.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by management to support the laboratory operations effectively.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills by actively sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in special project teams as requested by Lab ownership to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, scheduling, or customer service roles, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with scheduling/calendar software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is a plus
