Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Server. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The server will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs throughout their meal.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Present menus to guests and make recommendations when needed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests' tables.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
- Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in accordance with health regulations.
Qualification:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be of legal drinking age if serving alcohol.
- RBS Certification required to serve alcohol.
- Food handler's certification may be required, depending on local regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry trays of food, beverages, other items weighing up to 0~25+ pounds.
- Bend, stoop, and reach to perform cleaning and stocking tasks.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
