The role of the processing room employee is to prepare product for commerce. They are responsible for taking an unfinished product and transforming it to a finished product. They also ensure that the production lines operate efficiently, by sharing responsibility of:
Maintaining a specific position within a food processing line to achieve efficient input and output of the production line · Operating basic machinery, setting it up for production, doing routine general cleaning and Sanitizing.
This employee would also participate in the general administration and management of the Manufacturing team to ensure knowledge of the plants SSOP, GMP, and HACCP.
MAIN TASKS:
Maintain assigned position within a food processing production line.
Generate product labeling ensuring accuracy.
Maintain a flexible approach to work to meet team based work requirements.
Observe and maintain safety levels with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment.
Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements.
Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene.
Work as part of a busy team, Be prepared to sustain a certain level of production for time increments up to 2 hours.
