Direct Support Supervisor – Second Shift

Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill MA, is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to become part of our hard-working, solutions-driven team. Make a difference in the lives of homeless parents and children by helping them to rebuild their lives and reach their fullest potential.
We are looking for an energetic, supportive and committed individual to fill the position of second shift Supervisor of our Emergency Family Shelter. The Direct Support Supervisorwill be responsible for the overall operation of the shelter in the absence of the Program Directors including the supervision of direct care staff, welcoming and conducting intakes/orientations for new families; monitoring and addressing safety issues; and crisis intervention.
Emmaus is willing to provide training and support to help the right person to grow into the job.
Requirements of the Direct Support Supervisor:
- Must be willing to work second shift; Tuesday -Saturday: 3:30pm-11:30pm
- Associates Degree in a human service field is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Bi-Lingual Spanish /English preferred but not required
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check.
- Physical Demands: The employee must be able to walk up several flights of stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
