Midsouth Pain and Treatment, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse- Float, to join our growing and established practice in Germantown, TN.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible.

Our team of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff are dedicated to ensuring that patients can improve their quality of life with pain relief that involves the use of cutting-edge technology.
Schedule- Monday- Friday (2-3 days a week)
This position will require floating between the following three locations:
Jackson, TN- (Milage compensated).

Schedule Tuesday-Friday and will be provided in advance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Execute on the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develop a care plan in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary – including discharge planning process.

Communicate changes in patient's clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and teammates.

Performs a basic assessment of patients, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Records vital signs.

Identifies abnormal diagnostic data and shows a fundamental understanding of its implications by reporting information to the physician and others caring for the patient and incorporating information in the nursing care plan.

Reviews and develops care plans for assigned patients.

Includes the patient and his or her family in planning care, establishing priorities, and setting goals.

Uses care plans as a basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to patients.

Accepts accountability for clinical care of assigned patients.

Supports nursing care standards through adherence to existing policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
-
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Tennessee/Mississippi.

BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.

ASC experience (preferred).

We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate care plans to patients and teammates and to chart information into Electronic Health Records (eClincalworks).
