The Sales Manager of New Business is the leader of a sales team comprised of Senior Account Executives and Account Executives responsible for developing new business and acquiring new customers within a specific named account list and/or region. This leader is accountable for achieving monthly and annual regional sales new logo goals. This role provides direction, leadership, and training to the Senior Account Executives/Account Executives while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Here's what this position is all about:
- Drive successful sales by developing, managing, and executing the Service Express sales cycle for new business/logo including managing and driving sales portfolios.
- Achieve or exceed growth-oriented revenue and new logo targets by seeking and maximizing opportunities.
- Actively drive team performance for acquiring new customers and quotas set by management relative to accounts and market capacity; communicate determined portfolio and quotas to Senior Account Executives/ Account Executives and consistently monitor performance.
- Work with Senior Account Executives/Account Executives to provide focus and direction on accounts to maximize sales attainment, ensure maximum customer satisfaction and positive customer experience.
- Drive sales and prospecting strategy with Senior Account Executives/ Account Executives to attain sales quotas for new logo.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers and accounts by utilizing effective strategies to exceed general expectations of excellent customer service.
- Assist Senior Account Executives/Account Executives with proposal presentations and conducting customer and prospect meetings.
- Hold self and team accountable to drive results by establishing clear direction and objectives.
- Engage in sound business practices daily by proactively measuring all decisions against the company's four core objectives: excellent customer service, employee engagement, margin retention & growth and revenue growth.
- Collaborate regularly with company leadership to align regional and organizational objectives to maximize growth potential, practice consistency and drive revenue.
