GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Ensure production equipment is in correct
and safe operation.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Repair and maintains equipment on production floor.
- Stays on standby for any kind of breakdown.
- Stays on constant patrol looking for potential problems on equipment and looking for air leaks.
- Assists our maintenance mechanics while not on production floor.
· Responsible for changing basic tooling, die sets, saw blades, and other common mechanical components on production floor.
· Keeps up with some of the lubrications on the production equipment.
· Learn from mechanics and machinist to advance in positions.
· Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate using all forms of written, verbal, and electronic communication tools. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Understanding of basic machinery and the operating systems
- Ability to work with and supervise employees.
- Able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Able to read and use micrometers, calipers, scales, and other measuring devices.
- Requires knowledge of electric, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Experience: Up to and including three months or related experience
Educations Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred
