We are looking for a Contract Coordinator who will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and is driven by achieving successful outcomes in this dynamic industry.
As a Contract Coordinator, you will work directly with Project Managers and Project Engineers in all aspects of project management, from time of contract to final close out. You will have many opportunities to learn new skills to help you in any management career path.

As the Contract Coordinator you will assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, highly organized, professional, energetic, with strong written and verbal communication skills who is able to work well under pressure and efficiently prioritize tasks with little supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contract agreements for products and services
- Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts
- Prepare and edit contracts between company and potential clients
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the terms and regulations
- Review, verify and process subcontractor billing
- Project set up including the transfer of projects from estimating to construction operations
- Prepare, issue and log subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Document Control including the issuance, distribution, tracking, and follow up of project coordination documents such as submittals, RFI’s, PCO’s, and other critical documentation
- Monitor compliance with insurance requirements, lien releases, certified payroll, etc. using the accounting software
- Collect, log and assemble all project close-out documents
- Work closely with accounting to ensure accuracy of data in Accounting System (Viewpoint)
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in construction administration and project coordination
- Possess good analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Ability to thrive and multi-task in fast paced, changing environment with a "can-do" attitude
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; possess self-discipline with the ability to effectively prioritize
- Solid understanding of project flow from pre-construction through project completion
- Excellent internal office and field communication skills
- An understanding of common construction insurance and indemnity requirements
- Ability to represent company in a professional and positive manner
- Experience with construction accounting software (Vista by Viewpoint Construction Software is a plus)
- Experience with Procore or similar software
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
