Overview
Provides support to the MLTC Department by preforming administrative duties in accordance to the New York State Department of Health regulations.
Compensation:
$15.79 - $19.73 Hourly

What You Will Do

Monitors and reviews clinical documentation submitted by the RNFS in order to ensure that all required forms and fields have been completed accurately.

Maintains the organization of the client charts. Electronically files all clinically related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintains and updates clients and physician demographics for faxing/mailing MD orders and ensures that new physicians are properly credentialed prior to adding to the EMR.

Monitors that MD orders are signed and filed by given deadlines. As needed, follows up with physicians, clients and clinical team for unsigned orders.

Prepares and provides physicians with clients’ discharge summary and missed visit transmittals in a timely matter.

Assists in compiling medical records upon request.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED, required

Associate's Degree, preferred
Work Experience:

Minimum of one year of general office experience, required

Demonstrated good typing skills, required

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, required
