The Senior Sales Development Representative serves as a vital support system for SOPREMA's top-performing U.S. sales representatives across all brands and affiliates in the United States. By spearheading sales activity planning, lead nurturing, quote assistance, and data management, they empower the sales team. Additionally, the role entails facilitating priority substitution requests and submittal packages, acting as a seamless bridge between sales representatives and customers throughout these processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Assist with job quoting and data management
2. Aid with complex roofing systems quotation creation and maintenance
3. Work with regional sales teams to secure and schedule AIA presentations
4. Manage all pre/post-event administrative tasks for AIA
5. Use Salesforce to nurture and convert inbound leads to opportunities
6. Work with the Regional Sales Managers on email marketing campaigns and manage follow-up on campaign
7. Perform regular outbound telemarketing efforts to support existing customer management
8. Facilitate all SOPREMA specifications listed in the various builder exchanges, communicating the information to the sales teams and channel managers
9. Facilitate priority substitution requests for the sales rep and customer interface relating to substitution requests
10. Establish effective relationships with collaborators within other departments to address key business issues and opportunities.
11. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
12. Assist in the procurement of technical letters and other documents as it relates to AEC and CPO opportunities in Salesforce
13. Collect and analyze sales data and trends and use KPI metrics to drive sales process and planning
14. Track information and data related to contact and account interactions through Salesforce
15. Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Excellent analytical skills and solid business acumen with ability to balance the needs of the marketplace with sound business judgement
2. Demonstrated ability to meet objectives, drive results and operate with the highest level of urgency in solving problems
3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
4. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM to use data, metrics, reports, and dashboards necessary to manage accounts
5. Excellent communication skills
Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:
1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
2. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
3. Employee may be required to travel approximately 10% of the time within North America and possibly internationally
