Position Description
· Implement program delivery using a proven character development program for elementary age youth
· Prepare lesson plans, activities, programs and record attendance and advancement at each meeting
· Report program participant progress on a weekly basis after each meeting
· Coordinate youth and parent volunteer attendance at offsite programs including summer day camp and select council activities
· Coordinate transportation to offsite activities in partnership with your supervisor
Qualifications
· Interested candidates should have experience working with youth
· Past involvement in Scouting is desirable but not required
· Employees must have reliable transportation to assigned program sites
· Employees are required to complete a Boy Scout Adult Leader application and an online youth protection training course
· Employees are required to complete and pass a background check
· Employees will be provided curriculum and training to deliver programs to youth
