The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) is seeking a temporary Student Worker to assist the Obstetrics Life Support (OBLS) and other related studies in the Department of OB/GYN. The aim of this role is to primarily assist with the operation of OBLS grant. Tasks will include recruiting and consenting participants, helping participants register for OBLS course, coordinating schedule of virtual Train-the-Trainer courses, helping conduct focus groups, data analysis, and publication preparation. This position is based out of our Farmington, CT location.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma and be enrolled in one of the following degree programs - Master's or PhD Program.
Ability to operate a computer and other research equipment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
SCHEDULE: This is a part-time position. 16 hours per week and schedule will vary upon department need.
HOURLY RATE: $26. This position is not eligible for benefits and is a temporary position.
