Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides to see our hospice patients either in their home, at a skilled nursing facility, or assisted living facility. Must have CNA and HHA certificates. You can schedule your visits at your conscience. HHA’s usually see each patient 1-3 times a week. You can choose to pick up more patients as we have them available in your area.
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes and sometimes at a nursing facility or assisted living facility. You will see the each patient 2-3 times per week and you may make your own schedule as when you want to visit them. You may choose to see additional patients and even form a full time schedule. The scheduling is VERY FLEXIBLE as you see the patients at your own time of choosing. We pay $40 per hour for HHA.
We do have some availible positions for caregivers if you are unlicensed without a CNA or HHA cert, then we pay $20 per hour as a non-medical caregiver/ voluteer. As a caregiver/ volunteer you willl assist with non-medical needs such as running errands for the patient and their families, light cleaning and care, and companionship. We can also assist with obtaining your CNA and HHA (6 week program) with a free grant, if interested.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with hospice care and dementia care is a plus
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Proficient in using medical equipment such as tube feeding systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
