Overview
The Customer Service Ambassadors are responsible for assisting with the security checkpoint passenger screening process at the International Airport. They provide various airport customer support and processing services to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Checkpoint Queuing and Line Management
- Organize and manage the flow of passengers through security checkpoints.
- Ensure orderly and efficient queuing to minimize wait times.
- Passenger Diverting and Way-Finding Assistance
- Provide directions and guidance to passengers to help them navigate the airport.
- Assist passengers with finding their gates, restrooms, baggage claim, and other airport facilities.
- Stanchion Maintenance
- Set up, adjust, and maintain stanchions and other barriers to manage passenger flow.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and positioned correctly.
- Security Checkpoint Passenger Preparation
- Educate passengers on security procedures to expedite the screening process.
- Assist passengers in preparing their belongings for security checks (e.g., removing shoes, belts, electronics).
- Customer Service
- Address passenger inquiries and provide assistance with any issues or concerns.
- Offer a welcoming and helpful presence to enhance the passenger experience.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Provide ground transportation information and assistance at the ground transportation booth.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Authority.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with airport operations and security procedures is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage physical tasks related to stanchion setup and maintenance.
Working Conditions
- Primarily based at the security checkpoints and throughout the airport.
- May require flexible working hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
