Summary:
Siteworks is seeking a highly motivated, detailed, and organized individual to join our team as Safety Professional. The successful candidate will oversee the occupational health & safety policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations in the organization while reporting to Siteworks Safety Director.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
- Stops operations and activities that could harm employees or equipment.
- Perform Risk Management Assessment at various job sites.
- Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace utility strikes, injuries, accidents, and health problems.
- Conduct investigations into utility strikes and minimize liability and fault where applicable.
- Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards.
- Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepares all accident and incident reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bilingual speaking (Spanish) to assist in presentation and teaching of the classroom presented curriculum a must.
- Bachelor’s degree (Or Equivalent related field experience) in health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health.
- Knowledge of the range of heavy equipment in our industry.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required to conduct safety duties.
- At least five years of occupational health and safety experience in the construction industry required.
- OSHA 500/501 Certification.
- Negotiation Skills
- Avid knowledge in NC 811 Laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training in large groups.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required to conduct safety inspections.

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
