About The Role
Nickson is seeking a Recruiter & Support Associate to join our Operations Team within our fast-growing venture.
At Nickson, we count on our Operations Team to facilitate the delivery and installation of thousands of items each day directly to our customers’ homes. We’re looking for a highly skilled Recruiter & Operations Support Associate to join our rapidly growing team to help attract, train, and retain the highest quality operations team members. This role would also be responsible for supporting the broader Operations Management team with various office duties, inventory management, and other tasks to ensure the day to day runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maintaining and enhancing relationships with recruiting sources and supplying adequate applicant flow to staff assigned areas. The recruiter will be willing to act fairly independent of supervision and reports to the Head of Supply Chain and Operations. Results are measured by meeting department workforce and operating goals and objectives within Nickson’s fast-paced environment.

Within Nickson, our People are at the forefront of everything we do, and the Recruiter & Operations Support Associate will be tasked with:
- Applying workforce planning knowledge to devise recruiting strategies and execute hiring plans.
- Responsible for recruiting activities to increase pipeline including posting jobs, contacting candidates, and completing initial resume reviews and phone screens.
- Research, prepare, and execute presentations and trainings, onboard and train new employees, and conduct employment interviews to measure employee satisfaction.
- Lead and assist in a wide variety of operations projects required for operating and scaling the business.
- Become an expert on Nickson’s internal systems, including our inventory management system.
- Reliably own various tasks needed to keep the warehouse running efficiently.
- Other responsibilities may include generating reports, documenting interview outcomes, and communicating feedback to candidates.

What You Can Do
- Create compelling job descriptions and post them on various platforms.
- Coordinate interview and training schedules considering multiple operational factors.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, proactively problem solve, and be highly organized.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment to maximize candidate throughput.
- Set up equipment required for recruiting events, drive to event locations.
- Provide recruiting and training presentations in a public forum.
- Work flexible hours, including odd hours during heavy recruiting periods.
- Perform data entry and analyses proficiently in Microsoft Excel and similar tools.
- Committed to representing Nickson’s core values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably with recruiting experience
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge and experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, and other web-based recruitment
- Must have the ability to occasionally travel (including over-night), work weekends and nights (as needed)
- Prior logistics or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Must have experience using MS Office products

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
