Job Description:
In this remote role, you will support our team of on-site Community Leads by assisting residents over the phone. This can include conducting a resident intake & needs assessment, getting residents enrolled with Ounce, connecting them with healthcare services & scheduling appointments, and completing benefits applications.
You will work closely with our Community Leads, and represent Ounce within the community. You'll help to build trust and respect with residents, identify their needs, and work with our team to make sure they get access to high-quality services that promote health & wellness.
Requirements:
- Experience with Seattle / Washington state healthcare and benefits systems, including familiarity with applications and processes such as Medicaid recertification, SNAP, LIHEAP, SSI, and other benefits.
- Experience with outreach to healthcare providers and/or patients.
- Comfortable with data entry to record work being done for residents, including referrals, in our technology platform.
- Bilingual candidates that are fluent in Spanish.
Other information:
- $28 per hour
- 15 - 25 hours / week to start with the potential to become a full-time position (hours will mostly take place 8 am - 5 pm ET, M-F, but also some flexibility for evening and/or weekend work)
