DESCRIPTION
Suncor Stainless is looking for an additional customer service person to help us reach the next level of growth after years of continuous expansion. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting Suncor Stainless customers and sales personnel in the assigned territory. Responsibilities includes order entry, customer assistance, issue resolution and assisting sales personnel with other customer related matters. The Customer Service Representative is expected to coordinate and work with other personnel including account managers, sales account managers and shop personnel to insure 100% customer satisfaction.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer and sales support as needs arise.
- Provide order entry support to sales.
- Assimilate product knowledge and develop the ability to articulate product information to customers.
- Provide back up and support to Sales team as needed.
- Troubleshoot and facilitate customer issue resolution
- Facilitate sales by engaging end users and partners with product information.
- Acquire and maintain proficiency in technical aspects of the product line and acquire the ability to explain and demonstrate products on demand.
- Provide specific support of EDI system where required.
- SKILL AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft software skills.
- Minimum 3 years customer service / sales experience in a business to business setting.
- Experience in broad product lines preferred. Marine, Industrial or construction products experience preferred. College may be considered in place of some experience requirements.
- Ability to learn and articulate product knowledge, technical aptitude highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:SALARY
- High School Diploma, some College preferred
- Must be able to work 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday
