Job Description:
We're seeking a dynamic and creative Manager to join our team and elevate patrons’ experience at La Neta Cocina y Louge. As the Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
The position shares responsibility for the entire venue, including financials, to drive sales and profitability, as well as motivating, coaching, and leading their team. In addition, the Manager ensures the venue is running effectively and meeting all Company standards to include execution of service, guest interaction, atmosphere and cleanliness. The Manager will share the responsibility of overseeing venue management, as well as, be assigned to oversee one or multiple departments within the venue.
This position requires a multifaceted approach to management, focusing on staff development, guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial oversight. Key responsibilities include:
Staff Development: Foster continuous growth among team members in managerial and professional capacities.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by exceeding expectations and leading by example, with a hands-on management style.
Product Knowledge and Guest Engagement: Possess a deep understanding of portion control, product offerings, and services to effectively address guest inquiries, promote specials, and accommodate needs.
Operational Standards: Implement and advise on operational standards, policies, and procedures to guide staff, while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cost control.
Team Management: Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and evaluation of all team members, maintaining open communication and an inclusive environment.
Financial Oversight: Monitor sales, expenses, and budgets, ensuring accuracy in reporting and adherence to financial protocols.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain frequent communication with executive leadership, department personnel, and venue staff to ensure alignment, address concerns, and facilitate teamwork.
Inventory and Compliance: Oversee inventory management, enforce strict controls, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Community Engagement: Participate in community events and uphold corporate social responsibility goals, while also collaborating on marketing strategies to drive venue recognition and sales.
Market Analysis and Sales Execution: Monitor market trends, execute sales goals, and collaborate with sales teams to successfully execute private events, catering, and banquets.
Facility Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, functionality, and adherence to maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
Conflict Resolution and Performance Management: Address conflicts, conduct corrective actions, and ensure timely completion of performance appraisals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Technical Production: Oversee technical aspects to enhance guest experiences, ensuring smooth operations and creating a special atmosphere.
Adaptability: Undertake additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to organizational success.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Valid NV Alcohol Awareness card and NV Health Card
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Company standards
WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five to six (5-6) years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a high - volume venue
- Proficient in Windows MS Office, Open Table, Outlook
- Knowledge of POS and back office reporting systems, operations, fine dining procedures, and beverage service, special events and banquets
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting, cost of sales, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, inventories and cost controls as it applies to bar product
- Knowledge of state and local laws as it applies to liquor, labor, and health code regulations
SKILLS:
- Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, lead others, delegate
- Ability to provide incentives for staff to go above and beyond the expectations of their roles
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
- Ability to speak to guests fluently regarding the food, beverage, and overall concept
- Ability to demonstrate and impose upon service staff the ability to service guests with utmost of care, service and excellence, utilizing the highest standards of service techniques
