Job Description:
Working directly with our Commercial Director and collaborating with our Key Account team, this role takes on the significant responsibility of representing the market-leading Chambers brand with our most important Strategic Accounts (global elite law firms), across the multiple Chambers offerings.
This is a client facing role, where the candidate is expected to forge and deepen existing relationships with key clients as well as drive new business opportunities. This is a high-profile position with a huge potential.
This is a full-time position with room for growth and awesome company perks not limited to:
- 33 days PTO per annum (25 days PTO + 8 public holidays)
- The offices are also closed in between Christmas and New Year so there is no need to book time off for 27th – 31st December

Main responsibilities:
- Manage and grow (upsell/cross-sell) through value-based selling an existing book of business consisting of multiple products. Focus on Chambers’ data and analytics products (Chambers Insight).
- Maintain a sales pipeline, produce high-quality proposals and accurately forecast on a monthly basis.
- Balance short and long-term account objectives through innovative account management.
- Strengthen existing relationships whilst proactively forging new relationships with strategic stakeholders globally. Go higher and wider including new relationships with law firm Partners, CMOs, Business Development professionals and other functions.
- Detailed account mapping to identify white space and new buyers/influencers to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Spend 2.5 days/week in the office including every Monday and Tuesday. Meet clients face-to-face (20% of client interactions) in NYC and domestically within the US. The role requires travelling a few times a year to develop the right relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams - Customer Success, Marketing, Events, Research- to make sure the client experience is aligned with the value of the Chambers brand.
As a brand/company, our products have the best reputation across all Legal markets the world over, the decision maker’s door is always open.
You will work flexibly in midtown Manhattan, together with the rest of the Sales team on Mondays and Tuesdays, and attend in-person client meetings once a week.
Skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills – all levels
- Enjoyment of relationship building and account management.
- Ability to manage relationships strategically, balancing short and long-term goals
- Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business requirements into value propositions
- 5+ years sales experience in professional services (selling into law firms/legal sector experience a plus) including face to face pitching/presentations with senior decision-makers
- Contribute effectively within a team environment. Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
