QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Master's Degree in a related field
- LCSW/ASW, LMFT/AMFT required, current registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in child welfare, juvenile justice, or mental health
- Experience with Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) preferred
- One year of full time experience as a clinician, working with youth and families, completing Medi-Cal documentation, creating clinical assessments and reports, and publicly presenting clinical findings, is required
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manager Specific
- Reports directly to the Associate Program Director, provides feedback and support related to the design, implementation, monitoring, modification, and evaluation of the program and internal staff training.
- Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in their Employee Development Plan.
- Takes active role in recruitment, hiring, development, evaluation, and termination of staff.
- In coordination with Human Resources, develops a plan for the orientation, development, and ongoing training of staff.
- Provides leadership, direct supervision, training, and support to team members including: regular one-to-one consultation meetings, regular assessment of performance, and routine provision of feedback as it pertains to job performance, professional development, and program and agency job specific expectations.
- Reviews and approves documentation prepared by the program staff.
- Ensures documentation is compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Ensures the provision of services to our clients with appropriate regard to their physical and emotional well-being.
- Reviews complaints generated by clients, their representatives, and/or other agents and develop plans to address each complaint satisfactorily.
- Participates in on-call rotation.
Position Specific
- Participates as a member of the Wraparound Management and Leadership Teams.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and orients new staff and managers in all aspects of their work, including coaching and observing staff in the field.
- Ensures program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Serves as an organization and program representative through attendance and participation in internal and external meetings and promotional events, county meetings, community meetings, workgroups, hiring events, and professional organizations as assigned.
- Attends/Facilitates program meetings, trainings, and workgroups as assigned.
- Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in their Employee Development Plan.
- Collaborates with program management team to review new referral packets and complete case assignments.
- Takes a lead role in the implementation of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) models and therapeutic groups for youth and families in the program.
- Plays a key role in program development and re-design, including assisting the program associate/director with updating associated policies and procedures.
- Assists program management team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program Outcomes, Activities, and Measures (OAMs), including special projects and new initiatives.
- Collaborates with the Quality Improvement team to support continuous practice improvement, evaluation, and effectiveness of current practices and program design.
- Participates in Utilization Review, Accreditation, County and State Audits as requested.
- Coordinates with other services provided under the Medi-Cal model, acting in collaboration with other partners and ensuring documentation reflects standards that meet or surpass the agency’s, state and federal Medi-Cal/Medicaid standards.
- Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the ethical standards of clinical practices, including confidentiality and objectivity.
- Designs and implements agency practice projects using innovative and proven training interventions.
- In collaboration with QI team, utilizes data to present and support the Wrap Management team in meeting OAMs and improving overall clinical practice.
- Ensure agency is proactively creating documentation and compliance standards, and monitor for fidelity to the processes created
- Fully addresses items not in compliance from previous internal and external audits including plan of action, delivery of plan, and preventative actions to ensure future compliance
- Communicates with all youth, families, staff, and other agencies in a professional manner
- Maintains ongoing communication with direct supervisor regarding progress and concerns
- Provides additional support to staff as new clinical practices emerge
- Accountable for independent time management
- Will be certified and oversee the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Database for the Wraparound Program(s).
Agency Specific
- Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency’s policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
- Utilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
- Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills
- Perform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assigned
Employment At-Will
Employment at the Agency is terminable at-will, which means that employment may be
terminated at any time, without cause or reason, by either the employee or the Agency. In
addition the Agency may also demote, layoff, transfer or reassign employees at any time at its
sole discretion without cause or reason

Starting Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 DOE
