We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer with expertise in piping and instrumentation to support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and structural design, with a basic understanding of electrical systems. Experience with SolidWorks PDM is essential. This role will involve designing piping, integrated oil and gas measurement equipment, etc. (Local candidates only please - no third parties)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of piping and instrumentation systems using SolidWorks.
- Develop and maintain project documentation within SolidWorks PDM.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and optimize oil and gas measurement and control systems.
- Design structural skids for meter skids, racks, etc.
- Integrate basic electrical systems into designs.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to project teams.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of design standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
- Demonstrated experience in piping and instrumentation design, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and structural design principles.
- Understanding of basic electrical systems and their integration into mechanical designs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Previous experience working on oil and gas measurement, or similar projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to oil and gas design.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
