We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team located in Cinnaminson, NJ.
It Takes a Family LLC (ITAF) is derived from an ancient African proverb: “It takes a village to raise a child,” which teaches the eternal truth that no man, woman, family, or community is an island. ITAF was founded in 2008 to serve the underserved population.
ITAF is a State licensed Outpatient mental health facility with locations in Cinnaminson, Bridgeton, Lawrenceville, Galloway, Pennsville, and East Orange NJ. We are located in areas that are considered low income to afford everyone the opportunity to attain services for themselves, their families and their children.
We offer an array of services inclusive of medication management, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, individual therapy, family therapy, marriage and family therapy and behavioral interventions. We employ an amalgamation of behavioral interventions as well as pharmacological treatment in order to encourage wellness sound mental health in New Jersey and Maryland.
It Takes a Family (ITAF), is a dynamic social service organization seeking a hard-working individual to function in a Front Desk Receptionist position at any of our locations. This position requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to multitask, build rapport with clients and ability to complete timely documentation as well as provide support to team members.
Job Description
- Monitor all In Community referrals through provider agencies
- Follow up and assign cases to in community therapist and assure follow through when needed
- Explain intake paperwork and policy to patients while receiving and delivering messages
- Handle and manage the continuous flow of information between agency and insurance companies and community agencies.
- Organize and maintain forms and office stationery required for front desk activities. Inspect leased supplies carefully and organize supply room.
- Respect and maintain the privacy and dignity of all clients, to assure client confidentiality at all times.
- Schedule appointments and to organize overflowing paper documents
- Distribute the required information required for clinicians to work effectively.
- Make spreadsheets, manage data and create documents on computers using computer software system to enhance work.
- Schedule patients for appointments and follow up with clinical staff.
- File and complete medical reports and insurance forms
- Pull patient charts, to fill discharge forms
- Open the office in the morning, greet patients and agency visitors.
- Direct patients and medical representatives to the appropriate location and services.
- Secure the building, turn off or unplug appliances and machines according to agency protocols and lock all entrances at the close of each working day.
