Program Manager - Family PEACE Program - Days - Columbia
The Family PEACE Trauma Treatment Center (FPTTC) is dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of children and families exposed to violence/abuse and breaking the intergenerational transmission of trauma through early identification and treatment. The program provides holistic mental health services to children ages birth to five years of age (0-5), siblings (6-12), and caregivers who have been exposed to trauma. The FPTTC is rooted in anti-oppression principles that are culturally responsive to the community’s needs. This approach is integral to our mission and values. The program seeks a Program Manager who is committed to developing a culturally responsive, trauma-informed healing Center for families with very young children. Position tasks will include: supervision of staff, program development and strategic planning, assess and implement programming to meet the needs of the program participants and the community, monitor and administer the program’s operational and grant budgets, oversee data collection and quality assurance efforts, engage in community capacity building with partner agencies to identify and treat young children exposed to trauma, grant writing and assist with ACN Community Service Plan efforts to expand Family Peace throughout the NYP hospitals.
Preferred Criteria

Experience in a community based setting

Experience working with young children ages 0-5 years and families with histories of abuse/trauma
-
Familiarity and knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and Trauma-Informed Care principles

Experience with data management and analysis
-
Experience with grant writing and management

Spanish Bilingual
Required Criteria

Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience
-
Minimum of two (2) years in supervisor capacity

Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation
-
Experience working in a community setting
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a high degree of flexibility

Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
