Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of eight years' experience in multimodal transportation planning and engineering.
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or transportation engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in transit and/or multimodal layout design.
Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation.
Licensure as a Professional Engineer or eligibility to obtain it within six months.
Exposure to project management skills, including budget and schedule adherence.
Experience performing and/or leading traffic operations analysis.
Conceptual/preliminary engineering experience for enhanced/rapid bus, BRT, and rail transit corridors, as well as active transportation corridors.
Additional final design experience in the production of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages.
Responsibilities:
Creatively solve transportation problems, creating more sustainable and connected communities.
Serve as a project or task manager and manage projects within budget.
Outline and prepare successful proposals and reports.
Analyze a wide range of transportation data and manage the completion of technical analyses, feasibility studies, and other transportation reports.
Participate in firm-wide strategic planning activities to ensure the continuation of the mission and core values.
Mentor and train junior staff.
