Job Title: Restoration Crew Chief (Water, Fire, and Sewage)
Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Restoration Crew Chief to join our team, specializing in water, fire, and sewage cleanup and restoration. As a Restoration Crew Chief, you will lead a skilled team in responding to emergency situations and restoring properties affected by water damage, fire incidents, and sewage backups. Your expertise in restoration techniques, strong leadership abilities, and commitment to exceptional customer service will be vital in ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of restoration technicians during emergency response and restoration projects involving water damage, fire incidents, and sewage backups.
- Assess and evaluate the extent of damage caused by water, fire, or sewage and develop comprehensive restoration plans.
- Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, smoke and soot cleanup, odor removal, and sewage cleanup and disinfection as required.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor and document project progress, including daily logs, job site photos, and equipment usage.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and insurance representatives to provide updates and address concerns.
- Ensure proper maintenance and organization of equipment and tools.
- Train and mentor new team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.
- Stay updated on the latest restoration techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in restoration, specifically in water damage, fire restoration, and sewage cleanup, preferably in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of restoration principles, processes, and equipment for water, fire, and sewage incidents.
- Proficiency in handling water extraction, drying, dehumidification, smoke and soot cleanup, odor removal, and sewage cleanup and disinfection.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions quickly in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license.
- Relevant trade certifications are highly desirable such as IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT).
