Port Harbor Marine is Northern New England’s premier boat dealership with 5 locations throughout Maine and 1 in Massachusetts. We currently have an immediate opening for a Marine Parts Specialist in our Parts and Accessories department. We currently employ 95 full-time and 35 part-time/seasonal employees. We have served boaters throughout New England for over 50 years, offering sales, service, parts, dockage, storage, rentals, and our boat club. This is often a fast paced and exciting environment, and due to the seasonality of the business, it requires an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multi-task regularly. Marine Parts Specialist (Full-Time):
Provide expert guidance to customers and technicians in identifying the best parts for their requirements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, while achieving established sales and margin objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Successfully identify and fulfill customer and technician needs and desires by helping them select the best marine parts and accessories solution.
- Finalize parts and accessories transactions by properly closing each sale.
- Accurately account for all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories.
- Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of marine parts and accessories.
- Follow up with customers and technicians in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized parts inventory.
- Assist in identifying the best inventory mix of marine parts and accessories.
- Familiarity with Yamaha & Mercury engine parts a plus.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Basic computer and typing skills a must.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)
- Marine parts (or auto parts): 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
