Cummins Aerospace, located in Anaheim CA is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer / programmer to join and strengthen our team. We have over 50+ years of manufacturing history within the aerospace industry specializing in aircraft landing gear. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Programming Engineer. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate for on site programming engineering role must provide strong technical and functional skills. Duties and attributes of the programming engineering include:
* Create 3, 4 and 5-axis programs, detailed tooling lists, run books and detailed drawings per OEM blue prints for manufacturing applications.
* Programming language and experience using Solidworks, CAMworks, Vericut, and/or Pro-E,
* Machining background experience necessary to develop cutter/tool selection and fixturing design using 3-D solid technology for modeling and tooling paths
* Experience in multi-axis (5-axis) machining centers, both vertical and horizontal. 4-axis Horizontal machining centers, Probing and MILL-Turn machining centers.
* Willing to learn and implement the latest technology in complex machining of heat-treated steel alloys, forgings
*Create and interpret process instructions to meet engineering requirements
* Design fixtures to support manufacturing operations
* Familiarity with latest technology in manufacturing/machining tooling
QUALIFICATIONS:
Min Experience
3-5 years programming up to 5 axis machines and working hands-on experience preferably in aerospace/manufacturing environment, on multi-axis machining centers. as well as
Preferred Education
High School or equivalent with some college preferred
Preferred Experience
5+ years as Sr. Programming Engineer
Able to meet ITAR requirements

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
