Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our company's financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. The CFO will play a critical role in ensuring the company's financial health and stability, while also providing strategic guidance to the executive team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions for multiple entities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly internal financial reports including operating reviews and variance reports.
- Manage A/P, A/R, G/L, and payroll.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
- Develop budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and forecast.
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Deliver to the bank quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the company.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
- Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
- Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues.
- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Finance department staff with Director of HR & Special Projects.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external means as necessary.
- Evaluate and Recommends Business Partnering Opportunities.
- Internal liaison with outsourced IT company.
- Serve as financial partner to CEO.
- Interface with outside accountants to develop and publish external financial documents and reports.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
- CPA a plus.
- Experience performing and overlooking accounting functions for company subsidiaries.
- Demonstrated use of current office technology, including NetSuite, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and profitability analysis.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong presentation skills and organizational skills.
- Initiate new ideas to streamline routine tasks.
- Accept responsibility for new projects and see projects through completion.
- High attention to detail; must possess the confidence that work product is accurate and complete.
- Solve problems independently and be flexible enough to work in a group setting.
- Meet deadlines and prioritize work requirements.
- Provide President/CEO with daily finance briefings.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
