Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties while working closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- One (1) year of medical office experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Medical records/mental health/administrative assistant experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Computer/Data Entry experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
