Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales plays a pivotal role in helping facilitate the growth of the Williams sales team while ensuring our customers’ orders are processed on time and accurately. The Inside Sales collaborates closely with the Inside Sales Manager, Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse teams to coordinate and manage customer orders.
In your first month, you will invest your time in learning the role:
· Work side-by-side with the Inside Sales Manager
· Build relationships with rest of inside/outside sales team and customers.
· Learn our systems and processes.
Within three months, you will gain a deeper understanding of foundational knowledge and leverage that knowledge to assist colleagues:
· Deepen relationships with colleagues in other departments.
· Expand your knowledge of our systems and processes.
· Accelerate response time to customers.
· Work independently with little or no repeated errors.
Within six months, you will be an independent contributor supporting our team with most aspects of your role:
· Continue to expand your knowledge of our products, systems, and processes.
· Confidently make decisions about the best course of action for our customers with consultations with Inside Sales Manager and Territory Rep.
Within twelve months, you will “own” your role and increase your contribution to the department:
· Continue to expand your knowledge of our products, systems, and processes.
· Developed proactive order management approach and coordination with purchasing and logistics team for orders

Key Criteria/Requirements
1. 1-3 years’ experience with a valve Manufacturer or Distributor.
2. Basic valve technical knowledge encompassing valve types, materials, and API Specifications.
3. Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is a PLUS; relevant experience WILL be considered in lieu of a degree.
4. Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding, and complex sales department, demonstrated ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.
5. Pragmatic thinker and problem solver, able to quickly diagnose challenges and propose solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
7. Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence, with a dedication to building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
8. Exhibit pragmatism and calm demeanor, making good decisions and prioritization under pressure.
Core Responsibilities
1. Provide quotations and enter orders into ERP system.
2. Follow and adhere to company process including quotes/orders/returns/software platforms
3. execute inside sales strategies/tactical plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
4. Work with Inside Sales Manager to know customer priorities and resolve issues related to local customers while keeping director of Operations informed.
5. Foster relationships with existing and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service and support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, engineering, and manufacturing plants to provide excellent customer service to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts.

9. Accuracy on quoting with little to no errors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
